He was predeceased by: his siblings, Catherine Conrad, Mary Ann Allebbaugh, Thomas and John McCarthy. He is survived by: his son James A. McCarthy; and his siblings, Joseph McCarthy and Aggie Skeels. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
