He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Markovich (Clarke); his son Matthew Markovich (Andrea Hurley); his grandson Grady; his daughter Sarah Markovich; his grandchildren, Kylie and William; his siblings, Thomas Markovich (Sandy) and Rosemary Shumaker (Walter); his sister-in-law Jane Markovich; and his niece Kristen Markovich (Tony Pelath).

A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the William Slater II Funeral Service (1650 Greentree Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15220).
