James C. Lowen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James C. Lowen of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lowen and Alice Lowen (Coulehan); his siblings, Harry Lowen, Alice Warren, Patsy Boranski, Joan Liskey and Edward Lowen; and his wife Linda M. Lowen (Gagliardino).
He is survived by: his children, Amy L. Lowen (Michael Mullaney), James H. Lowen (Danielle), Marget L. Barringer (David) and Michael Mullaney; his sisters, Rita Mulach, Donna Kralik and Judi Curran; and his brother-in-law William Gagliardino (Marge). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brusco-Napier Funeral Service, Ltd. (2201 Bensonia Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Siena Church (1901 Broadway Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15216). The military honors was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at the Mt. Lebanon Cemetery (509 Washington Rd, Mt Lebanon, PA 15228).
