He was predeceased by: his brother Michael; his sister-in-law Beatrice; and his significant other Patricia Moore. He is survived by: his spouse Nancy McClure Pinto; his sister Regina Pinto (Joe Spinelli) of Johnstown; his children, Jeannette Mangus (Rodney) of Johnstown, James Pinto (Lissa) of Dillsburg, Janice Berkebile (George) of Johnstown, Jason Pinto of Portage, Poo-Paw and Jim; his grandchildren, Anita Bresovic (Ben), Andrew, Amber, Alex Mangus, Stephen Pinto, Casey McAdams, Jorgie, Dylan Berkebile, Tyler, Arianna and Mikayla Pinto; his great grandchildren, Annabelle and Oliver Bresovic; and also, Nancy, Dave Christner (Peggy), Teri Hippler (Mark Sisto), Michelle and Mike Merritts.
