He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Sara (Edwin), Rachel (Justin), Lisa (Ryan), Richard, Julie (Brandon) and Rebecca; his grandchildren, Aria, Logan, Micah, Fiona and Quinn; and his siblings, Thomas and Mary Ann.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 1008 Castle Shannon Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15234. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Anne Church (400 Hoodridge Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15234).
