He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Engel and Hazel Engel (Cleer); and his siblings, Mary Meyers (Joe), Richard, David Engel, Edward, Joseph Engel (Melodie Jones), Dorothy Reese (Melvin) and Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline L. Engel (Steiner); his children, Erich James Engel (Missy) and Erin Emily Engel (Stephen T.); and his brother William Engel. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and friends.
The military honors will be held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
