He was predeceased by: his son James R. Murdock; and his brother Leonard Murdock (Ann). He is survived by: his daughters, Laureen Coldiron (Dan) and Patricia Backus (Bob); and his siblings, Fred Murdock (Nancy), Alexander Murdock III (Joan), Betty Murdock Rote (Larry) and Dorothy Murdock Rote (Richard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
