He was predeceased by: his wife Donna R. Laughlin; and his parents, Kendig Laughlin and Martha Laughlin. He is survived by: his children, Lori Carnahan (Brian), Wendi Kerr (Kevin) and David Laughlin; his stepsons, Charles and Mark Wagner; his grandchildren, Camille and Keenan Kerr; and his brothers, Lloyd and Gary Laughlin.

Memorial donations in honor of Jim may be made to the American Cancer Society 320 Bilmar Dr. Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
