She was predeceased by: her husband John R. Aul; her son James Aul; her parents, Albert Gustke and Martha Gustke; and her sister Ruth.

She is survived by: her children, Patricia Saunier (Bob) and Jay Aul (Lois); her grandchildren, Kimberly Aul (Eddie Bartek), Michelle Hart (Jason), Stacey Saunier Mease (Bill), Lindsey Rock (Kevin) and Bryan Aul; and her siblings, Adrian, Eugene, Ted, Pat and Joan. She is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.
