He was predeceased by: his parents, Saverio Mercurio and Giuseppina Cardmone Mercurio; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Irene Spell. He is survived by: his wife Suzann "Sue" Spell Mercurio; his children, Nina Mercurio and Keith Mercurio; and his siblings, Pasquale Mercurio (late Laura), Connie Banichar (Albert), Ursula Svach (Jan Joseph) and Mario Mercurio (Josephine "Jan"). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
