With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Giovanna Rosa Ricci (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe LeDonne and Antonia Ranallo; her husband Giuseppe Ricci; her son Domenico Ricci; and her great grandchild Taleena Natalia Eberhardt.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Villani (late Pasquale), Domenic Ricci (Christine) and Maria Lazzaro (Paul); her great grandchildren, Shane (Nicole), Isabella, Gabrielle Villani, Thomas (Baylee), Giovanna, Alexander Hoerner, Sophia Villani, Benjamin, Charlotte Ricci, Domenic, Joseph Ricci, Giuliana, Jackson, Rocco Broze, Natalina, Joseph Perris, Paul and Eliana Lazzaro; and her great great grandchildren, Lexi and Alana Villani. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home (216 44th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Raphael Church (1154 Chislett St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206).
