He is survived by: his wife Rita Jane (Torsney); his son Jeffrey L. Ellwood (Tonia); and his family, Nicholas (Taylor), Avery, Emily, Lilah Jane, Benjamin (Erika), Freya, Olyn, Astrid, Jeremy (Christa), Avander, James G. Ellwood (Ginny, family: David, Amelia, Heather, Vincent), Dominic, Anthony, Liz (Mark Fink, family: Jason, Eloise, Penelope), Shannon Fink, Travis (Annie), Juniper, Elena (Louie Tresco, family: Dana Tresco, Justin, Alyssa), Dayton, Camdynn, Braxton, Grant (Savannah), Brenlee and Gavin Ellwood. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd. (7450 Saltsburg Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15235). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or American Heart Association.
