He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cherico and Grace Cherico; and his siblings, Mike (Val), Raymond (Lauretta), Nick Cherico (Dena) and Ann Jankowski (Richard).
He is survived by: his wife Delores "Dee" Cherico (Greenwalt); his children, George Cherico (Cheryl), Grace Cherico and Carmen Cherico (Jacquie); his stepchildren, Patrick O'Donnell (Jacqueline), Tom, Mark and Shawn Kopa; and his sisters-in-law, Ruth D'Ambrosio (Tony), Diane Shoemaker and Debbie Hromy (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
