He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine C. Slipko (Averbeck); his parents, George Slipko and Helen Slipko (Yaramus); and his father-in-law Leo Averbeck Jr.. He is survived by: his son Steven Slipko; his sister Betty Jean Seiber (Gary); his mother-in-law Catherine; and his brothers-in-law, Leo Averbeck III (Amy) and Lawrence Averbeck (Kris).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Slater and Sons Inc. (301 Virginia Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211, USA). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
