He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, L. Jinney Copeland, Sharone A. Copeland, Vickie R. Morgan, Joyce A. Washington, Roderick B. Copeland and Jeffrey W. Copeland; his siblings, Minister Jeanette Carter and Dennis Rowe; his aunt Loretta Davis; his mother-in-law Nancy Thomas; his in-laws, Cynthia Hall (Melvin), Richard Thomas (Gwendonetta), Mariela Thomas, Sandra Graham (Don) and Sherman Thomas (Yvette); and his friends, Precious Lord and John Raines. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
