He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Michael A. (Katie Traska) and Matthew B. Bernardini (Jamie Lattner); his grandsons, Michael Rossa, Nicholas Bernardini and Michael Bernardini, Jr.; and his sisters, Norma Bercini (late George) and Esther Mosesso (Tony). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A procession was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
