It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florence L. Dixon (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Daniel T. Dixon; her parents, Charles Cypher and Margaret Cypher; and her siblings, Joe Cypher (Patricia), Margaret Turner, Mary DeMerell (Bob), Charles Cypher (Marie), Harry Cypher (Rose), Robert Cypher and Kathleen Kelly (Bob).
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Perkins (James), Frank (Julie), Daniel, Mark Dixon (Angela Lyons), Maureen Bourgeois (Brian), Neil (Jennifer), Brian (Shannon), Greg Dixon (Amy), Marie Wrabley (Colin) and Regina Maddox (Daniel); her daughter-in-law Lisa; her grandchildren, Christian (Megan), Daniel, Sydney Dunleavy (Joe), Gianna, Olivia, Danny, Dylan, Riley, Graham, Cooper, Ashley, Dane Mornak, Gabriella, Bowie, Rocco, Vander, Ava, Anna, Aubrey, Aaryn, Aidan, Ella (Finnian Sweeney), Audrey, Annalise, Luke, Lucy, Emma and Philip; her sister Ann Birko (late Ed); and her sister-in-law Ruth Cooper Rollins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William F. Conroy Funeral Home, Inc. (2944 Chartiers Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15204). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Jesus Roman Catholic Parish (3250 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212). A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Jesus Parish (3250 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15212). A burial will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at the Resurrection Cemetery (100 Resurrection Rd, Coraopolis, PA 15108).
