As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Emily may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Branzel; her mother Sarah DeNillo; her siblings, Louis DeNillo (late Cora), Samuel DeNillo (late Joyce) and Linda Bucklew; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Branzel (late Marie) and Donald Branzel (late Frances).
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Christina Michaelson (Randy); and her grandson Neil Michaelson. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wolfe Memorial (3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh, PA 15221). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Hills Presbyterian Church (1840 Ardmore Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15221).
