Edward J. Lutz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward J. Lutz (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lutz and Agnes Lutz (Obringer); and his brothers, Robert Katchmar and Charles Lutz. He is survived by: his wife Lynn A. Lutz (Jones); his children, Lori Auman of Jefferson Hills, Michael Lutz (Heather) of Pleasant Hills and Matthew Lutz of Seven Fields; his grandchildren, Cole, Preston, Ava Lutz, Brady, Laney Auman, Kennedy and Tessa Lutz; and his brothers, Raymond Lutz (Mary Lou) of Baldwin and David Lutz (Janice) of Castle Shannon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Albert the Great Church (3198 Schieck St, Pittsburgh, PA 15227).
