He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Skirtich and Loretta Skirtich; his siblings, John W. Skirtich, Paul F. Skirtich, Rose Anne Popovich (Tim) and Peter Skirtich (Joline); his nieces and nephews, John Paul Popovich, Francis Xavier Skirtich, Maria, Elizabeth, Mark Popovich and Sarah Katherine Skirtich; and his aunts, Dorothy Skirtich and McKaveney.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Fr. John R. Haney Angel Fund, ℅ Our Lady of Hope Parish.
