Edward R. Grentz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward R. Grentz of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 30, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roseann Angle and Irvin N. Grentz; and his sister Rosemary. He is survived by: his brother Jeffrey I Grentz; his wife Annabel Lou Sparks; his sons, Robert E. (Sharon West) and Daniel M. (Wendy); and his granddaughters, Annabel and Stella. He is also survived by spouses/partners.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cieslak Tatko Funeral Home (2935 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Albert the Great Church (3198 Schieck St, Pittsburgh, PA 15227).
Donations to Wounded Warrior Project or Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank are requested in lieu of other gifts.
