He was predeceased by: his parents, Earmon Jr. Beck and Henrietta Beck; his siblings, Arthur, Floyd, James, Robert, Jacqueline, Linda and Elizabeth; and his nephew Robert.

He is survived by: his son Charles Leonard; and his siblings, Leslie, Paul, Calvin, Dorothy, Joyce, Angela and Iris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Timothy K. Slater Funeral Services, Inc. (425 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15210). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
