He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Ann Hruneni (Hurray); his children, Michele Frew (James), Renee Bell (Robert) and Kurt Hruneni (Kari); his grandchildren, Adam Frew (Alyssa), Rena Buckley (Michael), Ashley Ambrass (Tim), Bryan Johnson (D'Aira), Angela DiGiacomo (Tony), Sally Punzak (Gary), Alison Crawford (Devin) and Christopher Hruneni (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Calder, Lachlann, Scarlett Frew, Nolen, Owen Buckley, Addi, Cole Ambrass, Mila, Luca Johnson, Maize, Archer Punzak, Hailey Jo, Ryan, Carter Crawford and Elaine Hruneni.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald-Linn Funeral & Cremation Service (529 California Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15202). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
