With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald D. Saxton Jr. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born in Alliance, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 3, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Dean Saxton Sr. and Barbara Morey; and his wife Nancy Ponsetto. He is survived by: his sons, Matthew of Pittsburgh and John of Covington, Kentucky; his granddaughter Sophie Saxton of Washington; and his siblings, Roger of Cammeray, Australia and Barbara Saxton of Akron, Ohio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
