Dolores M. O'Connell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolores M. O'Connell (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bertie Kort, Margie Maliszewski, Millie Mazur, Al Valasek, Emanuel Valasek and Robert Valasek.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Beth Genday (Dave), Sharon Willochell (Ron) and Daniel O'Connell (Jacq); her grandchildren, Michael Genday (Lindsay), Kelsi Genday, Kyle Genday and Jonah Willochell; her great grandchildren, Collins and Cohen Genday; and her siblings, Yvonne Jungle and Walt Valasek. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ltd. Funeral Home (7663 Saltsburg Rd, Plum, PA 15239). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Joy R. C. Church of Holy (2000 O'Block Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15239).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Society of St. Vincent DePaul or to your local church.
