She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis William Barthnek; her great grandchild Casey Hamburg; and her parents, Ralph F. Stapf and Marcella E. Stapf (Klein). She is survived by: her children, Linda Barthnek, Patricia Biswick (Mark), Michael Barthnek (Beth) and Robert Barthnek; her grandchildren, Charles Rozzo (Molly), Dennis Rozzo (Becky), Michael Barthnek, Jr., Kim Abbott (William), Melissa Petrucelli (David) and David Barthnek (Alysa); her great grandchildren, Mason Rozzo, Mia Rozzo, Isaiah Barthnek, Praelyn Barthnek, Caitlin Lucas (Steven), William Abbott, Majestica Abbott, Cameron Petrucelli, Riley Petrucelli, Christian Barthnek and David Barthnek; her great great grandchildren, Steven Lucas, Millianna Lucas and Valora Abbott; and her sister Beatrice Stapf.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walter J. Zalewski Funeral Home (216 44th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Raphael Church (1154 Chislett St, Pittsburgh, PA 15206).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for Masses or to the Lawrenceville Historical Society or the Sharpsburg V.F.W.
