He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Kovacs Jr. and Elizabeth "Betty" Kovacs (Tusai). He is survived by: his children, Daniel K. Kovacs, Jennifer Kaiser (Keith) and Thomas Kovacs (Stacey); his grandchildren, Laszlo Kovacs, Keith Kaiser Jr., Kevin Kaiser, Kody Kaiser, Paige Kovacs, Timothy Kovacs and Chase Kovacs; his great grandchild Kane Kaiser; his sister Linda White of El Paso, TX; his nephews, Jason Palfreeman and Mark Palfreeman; his niece Brandee Palfreeman; and his friend Chet Collins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home (1065 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15226). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 7:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation or the Western Pennsylvania Police Benevolent Foundation in Danny's name.
