He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Rea and Mildred R. Rea; and his brothers, Clayton (Margie), Charles "Chuck" (Linda), Keith and Kenneth Rea (Patricia).
He is survived by: his brother David (Sandi); his wife Margaret Jo Nellis; his children, Steven C. (Iva), Andrew B., Virginia R. Zoller (Bernd) and Gregory S. (Traci); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Rea, Molly Turner (Jack), Madeline Rea, Vivian Rea, Karl Zoller and Sarah Meyers (Jason).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home (1065 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15226). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Kolkata Parish (1100 Creedmoor Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15226).
