He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Thompson (Riederer); his daughter Ann O'Brien (John); and his parents, Lester Thompson and Margaret Thompson of Munhall. He is survived by: his children, Paul R. Thompson (Teddi), David Thompson (Vicky), Joan Spencer (Brett), John C. Thompson and Bruce. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. (4201 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15227). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 4:15 PM at the same location.
If desired, family suggests contributions to the Women's Center and Shelter of the Greater Pittsburgh Area.
