She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mielnicki and Wiktoria Mielnicki; and her grandson Brian Murtaugh. She is survived by: her children, William J. Murtaugh (Karen), Thomas P. Murtaugh, Joy Meiers (John), Michael Murtaugh (Donna), Mary Murtaugh, Daniel Murtaugh (Annette) and James Murtaugh (Shea); her grandchildren, Stephen, Lindsey (Brad), Abby (Jeremiah), Michael (Jennifer), Kevin, Kaitlin (Connor) and Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Patience, Caleb, Marley and Emiline. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and loving extended family.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St Albert the Great Catholic Church (3198 Schieck St, Pittsburgh, PA 15227).
