It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cecil Washington formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, born in Reading, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 24, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Hallie of Washington; his stepfather Jasper of Washington; and his siblings, Jasper, Jr., Melvin of Washington, Laura and Irene of Washington.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McMahon (McMahon) of Washington; his children, Teresa Scott, Tiffany Scott, Samika of Washington and Van of Washington; his siblings-in-law, Leonard McMahon (Laurel), Diane Smart, Arlene Gordon and Brenda Accoo; his siblings, Jacqueline Marshall- of Washington, Barbara Ann Bass (Joseph) and Alvin of Washington; and his grandchildren, Joey Scott, Precious Scott, Rico Cook, DeAndre Scott, Yasamen El Bey, DeShawn Scott, Destiny Smith, Malaya Scott, Tyler of Washington, Elijah of Washington, Isaiah Thompson and Mariah Thompson. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, great-grandnephew and great-grandniece.

Was born on August 12, 1946 in Reading, PA and fell asleep in death on May 24, 2020, due to complications from the Coronavirus.
