He was predeceased by: his brothers, Bill, Mike McKeever (Jamie) and Kevin McKeever (Christine). He is survived by: his sister Dottie McKeever; his wife Rebecca McKeever; his children, Lucy, Sam and Katie; and his siblings, David McKeever and Chris McKeever (Jill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy, so that fathers and sons may continue fishing together.
