She was predeceased by: her parents, Cesare Melani and Rose M. Melani (Valdiserri); her brother Charles Melani (Buddy); and her sister-in-law Joann Melani. She is survived by: her nieces, Jacqueline Umberger (Jeff) of Chambersburg and Judy Kirtley (Paul) of McMurray; her nephew Anthony Melani (late Cindy) of South Fayette; and her great-nephews, Dean Kirtley and Drake Bushmire.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Griffith Funeral Home, Inc. (5636 Brownsville Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Hope Parish - Nativity (5811 Curry Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15236).
