She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas Vandergrift; and her siblings, Thaddeus, Anthony, Edward, Henry, Lucy Peters, Victoria Holan, Gertrude Ciesielski and Clara Oakes.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Witkowsky (George) and Thomas Vandergrift; her grandchildren, Angela Mathews, Kimberly Vandergrift, Amie Bolewitz, Patricia Barilla, Kristen Cantu and Linda Cichowicz; her great grandchildren, Michael, Haley, Madison, Olivia, Ella, Grace, Collin, Jackson, Luca and Amelia; and her great great grandchild Violet. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Thomas J. Gmiter Funeral Home, Inc. (2323 E Carson St, Pittsburgh, PA 15203). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
