He was predeceased by: his parents, John Giba and Julia Giba; his siblings, Annie, S. F., Mary Giba, Theresa Pappert, Paul Giba and Rosalia Giba (S. F.); and his nephew James Pappert.
He is survived by: his nephew David; his niece Lisa Pappert; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jennifer Pappert (Joseph Sullivan), Tylor Foor and Joseph Sullivan.
