She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph A., Jr.; her son Joseph A. III; her stepchildren, Laura Turnbull-Peters (Jim Peters), Gregg Turnbull (Amy) and Beth Turnbull (Jon Swanson); her siblings, Carlo DeFazio and Lisa Nicholas; her granddaughter Emma Turnbull; and her siblings-in-law, Glen, Rose Turnbull, Joyce and Robert Turnbull.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frank F. DeBor Funeral Home (1065 Brookline Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15226). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
