She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Krywancz and Marianne Manko; and her brother Mark Joseph Krivanich. She is survived by: her husband David Shepard Thomas, MD; her uncle William Francis Manko; her sister-in-law Carole Krivanich; and her pets, Maggie, Winnie, Freyja and Tyra.
