In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Alberta had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Alberta may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Muko and Gladys Muko; her husband William "Buddy" Schmidt; and her siblings, Gladys Casciato (Anthony), Kathleen Heinzl and Albert Muko (Barbara).
She is survived by: her children, Bill Schmidt, Tracie Lane (David), Elizabeth Brennan (Dillon) and David Lane; and her great grandchild Caleb Brennan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as dear friends.
Instead, the family requests contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project 875 Greentree Rd. Bldg. 7, Suite 700 Pittsburgh, PA 15220, in her memory and to preserve her pride and support of our country's Veterans.
