He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Merle Weitz; his children, Jonathan Weitz (Gail), Melissa Chonofsky (Neil) and David Weitz (Judith); his brother Harold Weitz (Shirley); and his grandchildren, Julianna, Haley, Josh, Melayna and Benjamin. He was also cherished by sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
