He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Maurer (Carl) and Robert C Maurer; his siblings, Shirley Zeigenfuse, Helen Kissinger, Connie Welker and Ronald Maurer; and his nephew Jeffery Maurer.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Maurer-Chatcho (John Chatcho); his stepdaughter Erica Maurer of Pitman; his sister Evelyn Bowman; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Maurer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and great-great nieces and great-great nephews.
