He is survived by: his brother Robert Shearer (Phyliss); his sons, Thomas A. Shearer (Rose) and Douglas A. Shearer; and his grandchildren, Samuel K. Shearer, Christina Dinkins, Michelle Habeck (Rich), Jodi Glassic (Scott) and Emma Shearer. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 1 niece, and 3 nephews.
