He is survived by: his mother Florence Szekely (Banyas) of Braddock; his wife Mary Szekely (Rost); his son Stephen Szekely of Greensburg; his stepsons, Nicholas Ehrhart of Pitcairn and Cameron Szekely of Pitcairn; and his siblings, Rudolph Szekely (Marla) of Apollo, Brian Szekely of Braddock and Cheryl Pysk (late Jerry) of Braddock.
