He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L. Gibson (Scaglione); and his siblings, John Gibson and Jean Donkin. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Gibson (Chris Werder), Charles Gibson Jr. (Joan) and Frank Gibson (Shari); his grandchildren, Charles Gibson III (Michelle), Erin Sankner (Eric), Paul Gibson (Rachel), Garret Gibson (Jodi), Trevor Gibson (Leah), Alanna Uberti (Anthony) and Marissa Gibson; his great grandchildren, Anthony, Riley, Aimee, Nora, Evelyn, Andrew, Penelope, Antonella, Willow and Cecilia; and his sister Betty Merz (Joe).
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jobe Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (445 Beatty Rd, Monroeville, PA 15146). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
