Shirley Young Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Young of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, born in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Yoder and Alice Sterner Yoder; her husband Kenneth A. Young; her great grandchild Cole Wolfgang; and her siblings, William Fullerton and Virginia Barnes.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra (Jim Degler) of Emporium, Roxanne Kelly of Pine Grove and Lori (Barry Goodson) of Pine Grove; her grandchildren, Christopher (Hillary Degler), Valerie (Shane Imschweiler), Tamara (Jordan Miller), Robert Dannenhower and Alicia (Gerard Daley); and her great grandchildren, Hunter, Aspen, Braxton Degler, Madisyn, Zachary Imschweiler, Leah, Chase, Ava, Allie Wolfgang, Evelyn Miller and Jameson Daley.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Hillside SPCA, P. O. Box 233, Pottsville, Pa. 17901 or Angelman Syndrome Foundation, 3015 E. New York Street Suite A2 #285, Aurora, IL 60504 in her memory.
