She was predeceased by: her parents, John Amenda and Irmgarde Amenda (Adickes); her husband Edwin "Ed" L. Nelson; her brother Jack Amenda; her son-in-law Oscar Delph; and her brother-in-law Gerald Frontz.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Miller (Randy), Richard Nelson (Bridget), Vickie Malay (Ronald), David Nelson (Lynn), Sonja Harman (David), Kristin Delph, Lars Nelson (Anne) and Kurt Nelson; and her sister Mary June Frontz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
