He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Rutter and Doris Reinhart Rutter; his wife Marguerite Symons Reinhart; and his sisters, Helen Kreiser and Evelyn Boyer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Heather (Edward Stewart) of Tremont and Nicole Whitaker of West Lawn; his grandchildren, Jaimie, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Sophia, Marissa and Andrew; his great grandchild Rhylin; and his siblings, Sue Ann Ritzman of Pine Grove, Anna Marie Fornwalt of Middletown and John Rutter, Jr. of Middletown. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital Memorial Giving 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 in his memory.
