He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Brommer and Beulah Owens Brommer; his wife Mae M. Freeman Brommer; and his siblings, Russell Brommer, Clarence S. Brommer, Thelma Clements and Mary Ann Daubert.
He is survived by: his children, Jean (David Herring) of Schuylkill Haven and John Brommer (Dana Paxson) of Mt. Gretna; his grandchildren, Emily Herring (John Freeman), Matthew (Madeline Brommer), Nathan (Rachel Herring) and Maggie Brommer (Luke Roffman); his great grandchildren, Lewis, Molly, Maebel, Leo Herring, Evelyn, Owen Freeman, Henry and Frederick Brommer; and his siblings, Jane Brommer of Pine Grove and James Brommer of Mechanicsburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to either St. Peter's Lutheran Church General Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken Street, Pine Grove, Pa. 17963, or Compassus Hospice & Palliative Care, 1001 James Drive Suite B-34, Leesport, PA 19533 in his memory.
