She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest H. Bretz and Naomi R. Zerbe Bretz; and her sister Lorna Mae Bretz. She is survived by: her husband Todd Shartle; her pets, Pumpkin and Thor; and her siblings, Franklin (Carol Bretz) of Pine Grove, Melvin (Cathy Bretz) of Hegins, Zora (Wendell Fabian) of Wexford and Cora (John Shenk) of Pine Grove.
