Michael Hughes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Hughes of Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 21, 2021 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hughes and Karlene Rehrer Hughes; and his siblings, Gary Hughes, Pamela and Jill Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Schaeffer Hughes; his children, Jared Hughes and Kelsey (Chad Fidler); his granddaughter Alaina Fidler of Pine Grove; his siblings-in-law, Donna (Paul Medeiros) and Timothy (Christie Schaeffer); and his nieces and nephews, Cameron, Carter Raudabaugh, Matt, Joey Medeiros, Ryan Schaeffer and Amber (Jason Antony).
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made to the PGA Boys Basketball Boosters, c/o Pine Grove Area High School, 101 School St. Pine Grove, Pa. 17963 in his memory.
