With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merlin J. Jones (Pine Grove, Pennsylvania), who passed away on April 30, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Jones; and his sister Harvena Scanlan. He is survived by: his parent Lizzie Ankenbrandt Jones; his wife Shirley M. Aungst Jones; his son Robert Jones; and his brother Lamar Hummel of Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963, in his memory.
